INTRODUCTION by Dorothy J. Hill

The need to archive the writings, thoughts and life of the late Harold Henry Jewell arose after his eldest daughter Dorothy, was browsing thru some papers of her Dad’s, in particular, a black folder containing typewritten ‘guest speaker’ notes along with memoirs.

On putting the folder away in its box, Dorothy felt a huge weight on her shoulders as she realised that what was contained in the folder would be lost to the world on her demise. So how could the contents be saved and shared, was her concern.

In speaking with her son David about this realisation, he made the suggestion to put the contents on the ‘world wide web’. This was the perfect solution to what seemed the impossible. Son Wesley was approached to assist, as he already had created a couple of www. pages in the past.

So with much talking and organisation this is the result.

The links will take you on a journey with a man who made a difference to the lives of many people. Not every aspect of his life has been recorded, but what is here is inspirational.

Enjoy.
